- Designed and programmed web site for Canadian television producer, the content of which was updateable via XML files. This site included over 30 minutes of video that had to be captured and compressed for web presentation.
- Designed interactive online marketing for Nalgene Labware.
- Designed software packaging for Xerox Corporation.
- Designed printed materials, packaging, and clothing. Designed flyers, advertisements and packaging for local and national record labels.
User Interface Designer
Hoffend and Sons, Inc., Victor NY, November ‘02 — November ‘04
- Designed and implemented touch screen user interface in Macromedia Flash that directs a VB script application for the control of stage rigging. The design had to be complex enough for use in major International opera houses and simple enough for high school use.
- Wrote technical operation manuals and “quick start” user guides. Designed, illustrated, laid out and controlled the production of these manuals.
- Designed improvements to the interface including multiple languages and interactive help screens.
- Managed flow of work between developers.
- Kept track of bug reports and progress between developers.
User Interface Designer
Auragen Communications, Inc., Rochester NY, June ‘01 — August ‘03
- Designed and implemented series of unbranded interactive surveys for Miller Brewing Company. These questionnaires were created in Macromedia Flash and controlled by XML for easy updating of question text, format and layout.
- Designed and implemented series of interactive learning modules for employee orientation use by Corning Incorporated and Monroe Community College. These modules were created in Macromedia Flash and included chapter quizzes and personalized certificates of completion.
- Designed and implemented award-winning interactive tour of Frontier Corporation’s CyberCenter, a high-security data storage facility.
- Designed and implemented call center software to handle Xerox copier meter reads for Harris Interactive. Software needed to have sub-second response times and, as such, was built using XHMTL.
- Designed and implemented online payroll tutorial for Paychex Inc.
- Designed interactive meal planning and recipe search for Wegmans Food Markets using HTML.
Graphic Designer
Auragen Communications, Inc., Rochester NY, October ‘96 — June ‘01
- First graphic designer hired by Internet startup, which became Upstate New York’s largest Internet-only design firm.
- Designed all printed corporate communications, including logo, stationary, business cards and web site. Designed all sites using a combination of hand coding and graphics created in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Designed award-winning web sites for Wegmans Food Markets, Nalge Nunc International, and Frontier Corporation. Also designed sitelets (small websites) for Eastman Kodak Company, Xerox Corporation and others.
- Art directed web site for Agrilink Foods (now Birds Eye Foods).

- Designed print and presentation materials for in-house art department, including book covers, slideshows, posters, and greeting cards.

- Designed and laid-out camera ready materials in the Macintosh environment, including custom logo designs and illustrations.
- Maintained a self-service production facility for customers.
